Ilse York was born and raised in Belgium, and has lived in Missouri since 2006. She has over 10 years of experience in Logistics and working for the United States government at locations such as NATO HQ & NATO Support Activity in Brussels Belgium, 80th ASG (NATO/SHAPE Support Group) in Chievres, Belgium & 284th BSB Giessen Germany. While in Giessen Germany she got her first exposure to the insurance industry.  After arriving in the Fort Leonard Wood area she started focusing more on a career in the insurance industry. She began working in an exclusive insurance agency in September of 2006 and became an independent Insurance agent in April of 2010. She joined the Jones Investment Group in January 2011.

 
Ilse is Licensed and Certified in all personal and commercial lines and life & health insurance. She has degrees in sales management, accounting and correspondence. She is also fluent in Dutch, German, French and English. In her career she has obtained a number of awards and received an Achievement Medal for Civilian Service from the 284th BSB Commander in July of 2005. She has also received accommodations from previous Insurance agents and district managers for her performance in the insurance industry.
 
Ilse is a member of the Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Committee and the Military and Government Committee. She is member of the Chamber of Commerce ambassadors and an active member of the Pulaski County Kiwanis Club. Ilse is a Christian and attends church at Westside Baptist Church in Waynesville.   
 
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her partner Ronald Long and her two pups a miniature Doberman pincher Abby and a German Sheppard named Heidi. She is also the lead singer in the local band Generation Gap!!
 
Ilse sees her customers as her friends and wants to assist them in protecting their assets, meeting their goals and objectives. She does this with honesty, integrity and respect.
