| Jones Investment Group was founded in 2001 by Merle Jones. After serving in the United States Army for 23 years, he set out to help transitioning military service members with their retirement planning and survivor benefit options. He provided knowledgeable professional guidance in analyzing the variety of government and investment programs. In 2018 Merle Jones asked Bill Lockwood, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and President of Life Stages Financial Planning to work together and bring Financial Planning to his clients. Bill, since 2006 has been helping individuals know where they are today, where they want to be and how to get there. To better serve their clients, in 2020 Merle and Bill merged Jones Investment Group and Life Stages Financial Planning. In 2023, Merle Jones chose to retire, and Bill Lockwood acquired Merle’s interest to maintain and expand services to his clients. Bill has expanded offices from the original office in St Roberts to Ellisville Mo and Denver CO with an affiliated financial group. The Jones Investment Group has added an operations manager to focus on providing the best client services and a Financial Representative to service a select group of insurance clients. The Jones Investment Group is investing in improving client service by providing clients direct access to investment information, easy access to their specific account information, up to date financial information to stay current with changing financial factors and scheduled financial reviews. |
